I adore weddings in general, but small and intimate celebrations of love are unique.  Planning a getaway to say ‘I do’ to your other half is just so romantic! Nevin & Zane eloped to our tropical Puerto Rico island from the dry state of New Mexico during September. We had been planning their ceremony at El Yunque Rainforest via e-mail , but after a week with unfavorable weather forecast the rainforest wasn’t an option. It was raining on their wedding day but that didn’t diminish the couple’s desire to get married at all, even if it was in their hotel room. Luckily, Nevin & Zane had picked the gorgeous Las Casitas Villas at El Conquistador Resort for their stay. As soon as I arrived to their villa, the rain subsided momentarily and turned into a light drizzle. The couple had their ceremony overlooking the Caribbean Sea surrounded by palm trees and a soft breeze – it was definetly meant to be!
