20s Inspired Wedding at Antiguo Casino de Ponce

I first met Karina on her visit to Puerto Rico during wedding planning. Later, I was introduced to Juan at their engagement session in Central Park, NYC. From the evening I’d shared with K&J before, I knew they adore each other. On their big day, you could feel their excitement from the moment they started getting ready. Karina was actually one of the most punctual brides I’ve ever seen — she was ready as soon as I stepped into the room. Juan, next door, was smiling all the way from putting his tux on, to tying his shoe laces. They both expressed how eager they were to see each other at the altar. After a traditional ceremony at the Ponce Cathedral, we had a mini-tour for photos as newlyweds in the old town of Ponce. It was already a romantic setting, and their roaring 20s inspired decor at the Historic Antiguo Casino made it extra magical. Between sequin, feathers and tons of sparkle, the bride and groom danced away the night. As always (being a photographer) words fall short. I’ll let the photos tell you best!
