After some emails and phone calls, I finally met Vanessa & Jean Paul during their Christmas visit to Puerto Rico. When they chose Copamarina Beach Resort for their engagement session I loved the idea since Guánica is one of my favorite towns in the island. From the very beginning of the session V&J couldn’t help but smile at each other with each glance. As we walked down the beach admiring the sunset, the future bride told me about how they met. I was amazed to learn they had been living nearly thousands of miles apart in two different states. The couple met by coinscidence through a mutual acquaintance and kept in touch ever since. Long distance didn’t keep them from falling in love. As I photographed them I was convinced it was fate, because these two are definitely made for each other. Can’t wait for their upcoming wedding in march!
