In the search for a unique Puerto Rico Destination Wedding venue? Liz and Diego choose San Cristobal Fort as their wedding venue.
San Cristobal Fort A Historical and Unique Wedding Venue
San Cristobal Fort, named after the saint patron of Land Travelers, Saint Christopher. El Castillo San Cristobal was built over 150 years ago to protect El Morro from a land attack. San Cristobal Fort is also one of the largest built fortresses in the Americas.
Getting Ready at San Juan Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino
I love it when the bride and groom exchange gifts while getting ready! Liz and Diego chose the San Juan Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino located in Condado, which is conveniently close to Old San Juan. The groom sent the bride a card — a Valentine’s Day card — that he ‘customized’ into Wedding Day card. “It wouldn’t have been him if he didn’t cross out Valentine’s Day for this”.
Wedding Photos at “Castillo San Cristobal”
Liz and Diego fell in love and met in Spain. They wanted a venue that evoked the pleasant memories of how they met; Castillo San Cristobal in Old San Juan was ideal for their ceremony. We met inside the fort an hour earlier for a quick first look and had the most beautiful golden hour happen during portraits.
Dinner Reception in Condado
After their sweet ceremony during sundown, we headed back to Condado. L&D wanted an intimate dinner reception with their loved ones and Oceano Restaurant delighted all the guests with their delicious food. The focus of the evening was spending time with each other but they had the classic toast and first dance, too!
