Intercontinental San Juan Destination Wedding

Love for laughter, numbers and each other are just some of the things that Fiona & Edgar have in common. From a Chinese and Puerto Rican background, they met through their graduate studies in accounting and have been inseparable ever since. The InterContinental Hotel in Isla Verde was the perfect setting for their destination wedding, where I met for the first time a very relaxed bride with the cutest tea-cup length dress I’ve yet seen. So appropriate for the beach and the Caribbean heat! The groom was laid back too, having toasts with his groomsmen moments before the ceremony. Even though it rained and the ceremony had to be moved indoors, it was every bit as emotional and happy. Luckily, right as they said ‘I-do’ the sky cleared, giving us a few moments to capture newlywed photos at the beach. After the traditional toasts and first dance, Edgar & Fiona were the first at the dance floor. It was beautiful to see cultures coming together to celebrate all night no matter what the tune was. E&F are very loved by their friends and family, many who traveled to join them. Their wedding was so full of great energy, my face hurt from smiling by the end. Edgar and Fiona, I’m sure you will share many more happy days!
