Bride and Groom Getting Ready at Hotel La Concha
First, I was OBSESSED with the colors of this wedding. I had never seen mint blue for the bridal party or bridesmaid’s robes. The groom was excited, and his father wouldn’t stop smiling while helping him get ready. Over at the girl’s room, the bride was having a fun, relaxed time with her bridesmaids (and a cute doggy that took a nap during picture time).
Traditional Ceremony at Parroquia Stella Maris
Meghan & Gabriel’s wedding was a traditional, catholic ceremony at nearby Parroquia Stella Maris. The bride and groom participated giving the readings, and had their parent’s blessing with a rosary around them. After saying their vows, Meghan & Gabriel also distributed Communion to their guests, a special gesture.
Reception at La Concha’s Indigo Salon
We had a few moments to ourselves around the hotel for cute newlywed photos. M&G also included their bridal party for some extra fun shots. Their decor details were personalized, including photos and some of their history as table numbers. After funny anecdotes during the toast and the first dance including from Elvis Crespo to Louis Armstrong M&G enjoyed their party. They also chanted to the Victory March of the University of Notre Dame Band of the Fighting Irish, with different generations joining in to celebrate!
