Coming from a Caribbean wedding setting, modern, edgy and industrial is not something I’ve captured often. One of the most exciting things of photographing in new spaces and cities is precisely this: getting to step out of the comfort zone (more on this on a next post, I promise). In my last visit to Dallas I captured an engagement session on the colorful streets of Deep Ellum, but I have to say the Hickory Street Annex stole my heart with it’s rich earthy tones and cool industrial vibe. So of course I’m swooning when you add to the mix a real, deeply in-love couple bathed in perfect light in just every corner! It’s such a cute spot for an intimate elopement, or small wedding. Travis & Brittany were SO great to work with (bridesmaids Elizabeth & Maya, too!) and of course Ammie from Glitter & Glue Weddings outdid herself planning every detail!
